I am a Trainee Solicitor within the housing team, and I am in my final year of my training contract.

My background since graduating from University in 2017 has mostly been based around housing law, initially working for the Local Housing Authority and for a charitable housing organisation. For a short period I worked at the Local Authority in the Childcare team where I was inspired to return to University and complete my Legal Practice Course, which I completed this in 2023.

I advise clients daily on legal matters including homelessness, Anti Social Behaviour, disrepair, possession proceedings, unlawful evictions and challenging the local authority on decisions. I also attend court duty most weeks where I advise clients facing immediate possession or eviction. This is often fast paced, and I have developed skills and knowledge that can identify defences quickly.

I enjoy legal research and out of work I am a keen baker.
